The best way to connect at the Vineyard is to begin by:
attending a Sunday worship service
You can...
come as you are (we’re very laid back, casual is the dress of choice)
enjoy music that sounds more like what you listen to on the radio, but God focused!
discover practical help for living in the world today (though we love to have fun while we learn, we are very serious about our faith)
find people who care as much about your kids as you do (Well, almost, but our kids programming is a priority with us)
What to expect...
when you arrive you can enjoy a cup of good coffee and a bagel or donut if you choose
we start with worship in song using both celebrative and intimate music. The words are projected on screens. Vineyard music is used all over the world and in Christian churches of about every kind you might think of
we continue in worship through a brief offering time (guests should feel no obligation to give) and then there is a time of announcements (we like to keep them short and to the point)
a talk follows from the Bible that is very easy to understand and practical
we then have a time to receive prayer for any need anyone may have from a member of our trained ministry team
coming to a welcome lunch
Welcome Lunches
If you are new to the Vineyard or have not really connected to the life of our church yet, we want to invite you to attend one of our Newcomer's Lunches.
These are held about once a month nearby in the home of one of our members. You can come and meet our pastors and others from the church and start to put faces with names.
We understand that finding a church and making new friends can be challenging. It is our desire to make the process a little easier by providing you with lunch and sharing a brief presentation about our history, purpose, vision, beliefs, values and ministries. We hope to be able to answer some, if not all, of your questions.

Newcomers Groups
It's no fun to go to church if you don't know anybody! We strive to be a place where all people can come to be accepted and loved.
Newcomers groups are small groups of 5-10 people that meet weekly in homes within the community. Groups meet for an 8 week period. The primary focus of these groups is to provide opportunities for people new to VCC to meet other new people and build friendships. The atmosphere is relational and relaxed yet informative. Relevant topics are discussed such as:
Building Authentic Relationships
Finding Contentment in Stressful Times
Making A Difference With My Life
Setting Healthy Boundaries

going to an Alpha class
Alpha
Alpha is a 10 week experience specifically designed for you to explore the Christian faith and probe for answers to life's tough questions in a relaxed, non-threatening environment.
Alpha is held in a home where we share a free meal together, listen to a brief talk and then have an opportunity to discuss the talk together.
More than 2 million people worldwide have found ALPHA to be a worthwhile experience. It is supported by all of the main Christian denominations. There is no charge for ALPHA. Classes are held twice a year. For information about ALPHA, you can contact the church office.
